Tues Aug 25th: 1st day of school. Summer assignment is due today. Welcome to your first day of high school science. We will be going over classroom procedures, what is science and what is biology. Guess there was miscommunication and so its not due until Fri Sept 6th.
Starter: Need to put this into a notebook and will be handed in every week.

Objective 3: Explain how the structure and replication of DNA are essential to heredity and protein synthesis.

Mon Aug 31st: Starter: Beginning to talk about DNA today. This might be all brand new to you guys so I will be spending time in class to help you figure this out. We will be reading pages Dragonfly book 287-294. We will start to work on S4O3a teacher generated assessment . This will be due Thur Sept 3rd at the end of class.


Current Event Paper and Project Idea are both due Fri Sept 4th at the beginning of class.

Thur Sept 3rd: Starter will be over pages 336-41 of Zebra book. Working on teacher generated S4O3a assessment also you will need to read pages 300-306 in the Dragonfly book and take notes on these. Teacher generated S4O3a assessment due at the end of class and need to work on student generated S4O3a assessments which are due tomorrow at the end of class.

Answer all 9 journal questions and if your computer doesn't save them hand write them or type them up. Either use Word or Excel to complete the table which you have to answer as well too and you need to graph your results as well.

S4O3 Essay assigned and will be due on Tues Sept 29th: only needs to be 2 pages not 3.
